Welcome to our blog, Four Girls Four Forks. It is the story of four girls and four forks, advancing through the Phoenix metro area one restaurant at a time.
The four of us girls--Amy, Emily, Kara, and Yvonne--are alike in some ways (all foodies, all Catholics, all RNs), different in others. Together we represent three decades (20s, 30s, 40s); two are Phoenicians, one a Chicagoan, one hailing from the Big Sky country of Montana. One of us is vegetarian, and all of us generally try to eat healthfully. We are single, engaged, married, divorced. But we are very much alike in our appreciation of good food and drink and discovering what Phoenix has to offer in 2012 and beyond.
Our modus operandi is simple--try a new restaurant each month, preferably privately-owned and/or local. We rotate the selection, which means three picks per year per girl. Beyond that, we stay open to selections. Here we will chronicle our gustatory journey and our impressions along the way. Please join us!
